Operation Optimization of Medium-Depth Ground Source Heat Pump (MD-GSHP) Systems Based on the Improved Particle Swarm Algorithm

In recent years, the medium-depth ground source heat pump (MD-GSHP) has become a promising and potential geothermal energy heating technology. This is due to superior characteristics of buried pipes with small diameter, high efficiency pump, insensitivity climate, other conditions. Among currently available studies, both variable operating conditions addition thermal storage devices have rarely been considered. Despite this, optimization methods applied GSHP system are relatively simple. this paper, an MD-GSHP system, including device conditions, was fabricated. The operation strategies were optimized by employing improved particle swarm algorithm after applying costs, coefficient performance (COP) utilization objective functions, results compared analyzed. show that predictions COP found be CNY 279.27, 6.4420, 0.8527, respectively. effect on opposite but analogous coefficient.
